Richard M. Eskew

Richard M. Eskew, 75, Brazil, passed away May 10, 2022 in Terre Haute.

Richard was born to the late Joseph and Virginia (Boswell) Eskew on Oct. 7, 1946 in Crawfordsville.

Rick is a veteran of the US Army, he served in Vietnam.

He was a 1964 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. In 1984 Rick married Genny Eskew, who preceded him in death on Oct. 7, 2021.

They lived in Lehigh Acres, Fla. for many years. While living in Florida, Rick worked at Shell Point Village where he worked in maintenance. At their home in Florida, Rick and Genny lived on a canal where Rick shared his love of fishing with his grandchildren. Rick greatly enjoyed spending time with family. Religion was very important to Rick and Genny. Rick was very sweet-natured and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife.

Rick is survived by one son, Chris Eskew (Hollie), and grandson Christopher of Baton Rouge, La. Also surviving is one brother, Dennis Eskew (Gayla) of Brazil, as well as many extended family members.

Memorial contributions can be made in Rick’s honor to your local humane society.

Cremation services have been entrusted to French Funeral Home in Brazil.
