Thomas Paul ‘T.P.’ Huffman

Thomas Paul “T.P.” Huffman, 97, of Greencastle passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at The Waters of Greencastle.

He was born Dec. 27, 1924 in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Clifford and Fern Huffman.

T.P. served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was the oldest living veteran in Putnam County.

T.P. worked for Chrysler Electrical in Indianapolis and retired after 32 years. He enjoyed playing euchre with friends, sometimes twice a week. He and Janet liked to travel and spent many winters in Florida. Most of all he loved to spend time with his daughters and grandchildren.

T.P. is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janet Huffman; daughters Paula Thorman and Beverly Dowling (Randy); four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Terri Huffman, sister Lou Sever and brothers Jim Huffman, John Huffman, Charlie Huffman and Bruce Huffman.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
