Clifford Earl King

Clifford Earl King, 83, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Born Sept. 29, 1938 in Limedale, he was the son of Albert Earl and Mary Ellen (Haltom) King.

He was a graduate of Cloverdale High School.

Clifford retired from the Indiana Youth Center in Plainfield, where he served as a captain.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley L. King, parents and two brothers, Jack and Darrell King.

Clifford is survived by his children, Deanna (Harry) Pruitt, Marsha (Doug) Sunkel, Jeff (Jenny) King and Greg (Julia) King; brother Raymond (Sharon) King; sister Marjorie King; and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3 at Forest Hill Cemetery. Interment will follow.

Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
