Putnam County Nature Play Days set next week

Next Week, June 4-11, will be Putnam County Nature Play Days.

The goal of Nature Play Days is to get kids outside and remind families that nature play is important and can happen close to home. All events are free.

Groups participating are Putnam County Public Library, Lieber State Recreation Area, Putnam County Hospital, Ullem Campus Farm, Putnam County Museum, Roachdale Public Library and OWL Trail. OWL Trail educational area and park property is owned by the Little Walnut Creek Conservancy District around Glenn Flint Lake.

Information on the events is available at the various sites and can be found on the Facebook page of Putnam County Families in Nature. A list could also be found by emailing John Garner at johngailgarner@gmail.com.

Any kid attending three or more events will be in the drawing for the grand prize, two Indiana State Park Passes.
