Truck/tractor pulls scheduled this weekend at Fairgrounds

Having been canceled last month due to rain, the inaugural Putnam County Antique Tractor and Machinery Association Truck/Tractor Pulls are set for this Saturday, June 25.

The event will take place at the Putnam County Fairgrounds pull strip beginning at 3 p.m.

Concessions will be for sale by the Putnam County Rabbit Club.

Non-sanctioned classes include barnyard antique up to 5,500 pounds, barnyard antique 5,500-9,500 pounds, 4X4 gas open (no cut tires) and 4X4 diesel open (no cut tires/hanging weights).

IPA-sanctioned classes include outlaw antique tractors, farm stock tractors, N/A tractors, altered stock 4X4 trucks and pro stock 4X4 trucks.

All pulling classes have a $20 hook fee.
