SR 234 closed for bridge replacement at Ladoga

LADOGA — State Road 234 will close on or after Tuesday, July 5 for bridge replacement work over Little Raccoon Creek, the Indiana Department of Transportation has announced.

The closure is between Montgomery County Road 950 East and South 825 East, near Ladoga. It is expected to reopen in late September.

The project was awarded to Force Construction Co. for $2.2 million. This project also includes bridge replacement work on SR 234 over Sugar Creek, located north of Shades State Park. That section of road is expected to reopen in late July.
