Jalen Moore to offer free camp, school gear giveaway this summer

Cloverdale graduate and current Oakland University point guard Jalen Moore will be will be doing a back to school gear giveaway for Cloverdale High School students and a basketball camp this summer.

The school supply giveaway will be held August 9 at 7:45 a.m. at Cloverdale High School. The giveaway will be offering free school supplies to all high school students, including backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, highlighters and pens.

The camp, which will be held July 23-24 from 12-4 p.m. both days, will take place at Cloverdale High School and is for boys and girls from ages 7-18. Camp attendees will receive a free T-shirt.

The camp is free to attend. Campers will work on skill work and ball handling with 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 competitions, as well as a shooting competition with a special surprise for the winner. The camp will also include a camp picture and autographs.
