CLOVERDALE -- The Friends of Lieber organization has received a grant from the Indiana Parks Alliance to provide soccer goals for visitors to Lieber State Recreation Area.

Lieber is located on Cagles Mill Lake and offers overnight camping as well as day use. Activities include hiking trails, a swimming pool, beach on the lake, boating and fishing.

Many of the campers and day guests at Lieber enjoy playing soccer on the activity field. The soccer goals will be a welcome addition to the activity field and the enjoyment of all campers and guests to the park.

The Friends of Lieber SRA is a non-profit corporation organized for the support and promotion of Lieber State Recreation Area on Cagles Mill Lake.

The Indiana Parks Alliance (IPA) is a charitable organization that supports and advocates for Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) State Parks and Nature Preserves, and the people they serve through education, promotion, fundraising and assistance for local friends groups.
