Deadline to sign up fair parade entries is this Wednesday

Time is running out for entries into the 2022 Putnam County Fair Parade.

While the parade itself is set for Sunday, July 17, the deadline to register an entry is Wednesday, July 13.

Organizers want people and organizations to enter their group for float at www.putcofair.org.

Entrants are encouraged to be creative and come out for the fund. Floats competing for first, second and third in their categories need to be lined up by 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

To compete, the float must follow the theme of the parade, “4H: Planting Seeds for Success”.

More details about the parade, including an interview with Grand Marshal Gene Grable, will be printed in the Friday, July 15 Banner Graphic.

Where will the floats line up Sunday? I need to be able to get home from church before the parade.
