Frank Harold Garrison, 89, Reelsville, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on March 7, 1933 in Clay County to the late Frank Hadley and Gladys (Bell) Garrison.

Frank graduated from Staunton High School in the class of 1951.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany.

Frank married Ethel Drake on Dec. 31, 1956, and together they raised three children. Frank worked for Allison Transmission in Indianapolis for 35 years, specializing in aircraft.

He was a devoted member of the Reelsville United Methodist Church. Anything the church needed, Frank was always there to fix it. In his free time, Frank enjoyed yard work, gardening and golfing at least five times a week. Most importantly, Frank loved spending time with his family.

Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Luther Lee Garrison; sisters Doris Smith and Anna Mae Milner; and granddaughter Tanae Garrison.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ethel Garrison of Reelsville; son Mark (Kathy) Garrison of Brazil; daughters Gayla (Mark) Thiemann of Brazil and Pam (Milo) Miller of Brazil; grandchildren Nick (Kay) Garrison, Travis (Laura) Garrison, Jessica Brown, Jason (Joselyn) Thiemann, Austin (Jamie) Thiemann, Amy Thiemann, Adam (Lottie) Thiemann, Evan (Rachel) Thiemann, Allison Miller, Gavin Miller and Melanie Miller; great-grandchildren Alyssa, MaryJane, Lucy, Zoey, Hailey, Hayden, Levi, Emma, Sebastian, Avery, Max, Theo, Josiah, Alexander, Nolan and Nora; great-great-grandson Holden; as well as several extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Willie Best officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery in Carbon.
