Solar class offered by Castlemakers

On Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m., those interested may learn about solar energy and photovoltaics at 19 E. Franklin St., Greencastle.

The session will start with a quick overview of different types of solar systems and then go into details about photovoltaic systems for any home or business — including a simple way to determine solar potential at your location.

This no-charge presentation is being offered by Castlemakers, a non-profit group dedicated to encouraging scientific and creative skills through education, collaboration and access to tools and equipment that others may not have. No reservation is required.
