The Putnam County Community Foundation recently awarded the Putnam County Mural Project a $10,000 grant to support the fall mural festival.

The funds will directly support the mural on the Banner Graphic wall, which will be painted by internationally-recognized artist Alexander Isakov.

“We know that murals activate public spaces and engage neighborhoods in a way that leads to more vibrant communities,” PCCF Executive Director Neysa Meyer said. “We are happy to support initiatives like this that make Putnam County an even better place to live.”

The mural festival will also include four other murals in Putnam County and run Sept. 11-24. Learn more at putnamcountymuralproject.org.
