VBS set Saturday at Cloverdale Church of Christ

CLOVERDALE — A one-day vacation Bible school will be conducted at Cloverdale Church of Christ on Saturday, Aug. 6.

This will be for all ages, including adults. The VBS will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with lessons on “The Armor of God,” as well as crafts, activities and a light lunch.

Sunday, Aug. 7 will begin the church’s gospel meetign with Jim Harrison, which will continue until Thursday, Aug. 11. The theme will be “Lessons Jesus Taught on the Calvary Road.” He will be speaking on Sunday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and again at 6 p.m., then Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m.

Brother Harrison comes from Anderson, where he has ministered Columbus Avenue Church of Christ in the past. He has held meetings with the Cloverdale Church of Christ in the past.

On Sunday, following morning services, the congregation will share a meal, which everyone is invited to attend.
