Greater Capacity

A boon for expanding its capacity in serving the North Putnam school district, Gleaners Food Bank recently awarded a grant for $36,411.35 to the Two Fish Food Pantry at Bainbridge Christian Church. Present for a check presentation Saturday morning are (from left) Gleaners Local Service Manager Sloan Lewis, pantry volunteers Thursa Evens, Aubrey Thompson, Stephanie Myers, Amy Lui-Barker, Candice Thompson (holding Annabelle Thompson), Marsha Franklin and Chuck and Pam Cope, Pastor Ray Dutcher and pantry volunteer Crystal Strotman. The grant was made through a new Gleaners initiative to help local food pantries meet their needs.
