United Way of Central Indiana CEO to visit Putnam County
As part of a series of meet and greets with the new United Way of Central Indiana CEO, Fred Payne will visit Putnam County on Friday, Aug. 25.
From 8-9 a.m., local leaders, advocates, volunteers and donors will get to hear from Payne about his vision for the nonprofit and the role it plays in the community.
The event will take place at Tiger Pointe Country Club, 37 N. U.S. Highway 231, Greencastle.
In July, Payne became United Way of Central Indiana’s 15th president and CEO. He previously led the state’s Department of Workforce Development for nearly five years.

A total of nine meet-and-greets will be held in August at locations across United Way’s seven-county service area of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Marion, Morgan and Putnam counties.
