Shirley Sue Inman

Shirley Sue Inman, 82, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022.

Sue was born Dec. 26, 1939, in Greencastle, the daughter of John and Opal (Grimes) Patterson and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Sue worked several years at JCPenney and the Putnam County Assessor’s Office.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Inman; and 10 siblings.

Sue is survived by her children, Terri Dickey, Leigh Anne (Kris) Carrington and John Bradley (Missy) Inman; a brother, Donald Patterson; sister Doris McMains; nine grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Heather Johnson, Jennifer Wells, Keaton Dickey, John Bradley Inman, Kristin Carrington, Justin Gorham, Samuel Gorham and Danielle Gorham; and three great-great-grandchildren, Theodore Johnson, Olivia Johnson and Karsyn Inman.

Private graveside services will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
