Workin’ on the Railroad

In a job beset by months of delays, crews from White Construction begin removing Bridge 276 over CSX Railroad in Madison Township (above). The 114-year-old bridge must be removed piece by piece to ensure the tracks remain open 24/7.

Elsewhere, CSX workers perform maintenance on the CSX crossing on U.S. 231 (North Jackson Street) in Greencastle. One of several closures in the area, it prompted an official detour following State Road 240, State Road 75 and U.S. 36, though local traffic was able to find other routes on local streets.
