Paul Blue Jr.

Paul Blue Jr., 74, of Greencastle passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Paul was born in Greencastle on April 18, 1948, the son of Paul and Renalda Sabina (Chinchillas) Blue.

He was a 1967 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Blue worked for more than 30 years with Allison-Rolls Royce in Indianapolis.

He was a loving son. He loved animals and enjoyed traveling. He traveled with his mother to all of the states in the Continental United States, including Alaska.

Survivors include two brothers, Jonathan Blue (wife Mary Lou), Coatesville, and James Blue, Greencastle; three nephews, Jon David “Buck” Blue (wife Jenny), Chicago, Michael Blue, Bainbridge, and Shaun Blue (wife Lee Donna), Greencastle; a niece, Heather E. Keil (husband Jeff), Bainbridge; and several grand-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday
