Overdose Awareness

Thursday, September 1, 2022
In recognition of those who have died from overdoses and of addressing them, Mayor Bill Dory (center, seated) signs a proclamation Monday declaring Wednesday as Overdose Awareness Day in Greencastle. Joining Dory for the occasion are Putnam County Recovery Coalition members (from left, seated) Erin Flick, Karen Martoglio, Dee Yurkovic and Lori Mitchell. The proclamation notes that 35 overdoses have been reported in Putnam County since Jan. 1, with 12 of those in the city.

  • Just lost a relative to a heroin overdose. So very heartbreaking. We need these services in this community so badly,
