South Putnam Supt. Corey Smith was recently selected as one of a cohort of 20 for the Educators Preparing Inspired Change (EPIC) Superintendent’s Academy provided through the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents.

EPIC is a leadership program for Indiana’s public school superintendents designed to position them for dynamic leadership in their districts.

The 10-month executive-level program, led by experts in various fields, provides advanced training and high-level integration in strategy development, budgeting and finance, change management, community and stakeholder outreach, building high-performance teams and school board relations.

Smith seeks to maximize his leadership through customized programming and projects for South Putnam, while developing a collaborative network with other EPIC superintendents throughout the state.
