Thrive West Central introduces economic recovery plan Resilient

Monday, September 5, 2022

Thrive West Central, a West Central Indiana regional driver focused on quality of life and economic prosperity, is preparing for community conversations during its educational phase of Resilient.

Resilient aims to combat regional challenges caused by the pandemic with three main goals in mind.

1. Identifying the region’s resiliency-related challenges and opportunities to spur acknowledgment and action to address.

2. Identifying public, private and non-profit resources to help address these challenges and opportunities.

3. Providing a unified framework for how communities in the region can build resiliency and prosperity in a post-COVID world.

Throughout this educational phase of Resilient, Thrive West Central will be attending and presenting at council meetings, chambers of commerce, Rotary clubs and other community organizations to give comprehensive updates on the recovery plan and how the region can help implement it.

“As we enter into this next phase of Resilient, it’s important for our team to connect with as many regional stakeholders as we can to promote awareness, collaboration and teamwork,” Thrive West Central Executive Director Ryan Keller said.

Business groups, non-profits and local units of government who are interested in having Thrive West Central present are encouraged to contact the Director of Business Development Jon Ford at jford@thrivewestcentral.com.

Meetings will be set to begin in September and carry on through fall.
