Arts Council seeks auction items for Bonne Soirée

Monday, September 19, 2022

Donations of fine art originals created by well-known Putnam County artists or collected by Putnam County residents are being sought for a live auction during the Greencastle Arts Council’s primary fundraising event, its annual Bonne Soirée, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Tiger Pointe Country Club and Event Center.

As community support for the Arts Council has grown, so has the number of GAC-sponsored programs and activities. These projects help cultivate local arts capacity, bolster support of art and artists, and deepen pride of place throughout the Putnam County area. Funding for these programs is raised, in part, through the group’s Bonne Soirée, an evening of live music, poetry, good food — and, of course, art.

If you have original art work you would like to donate or if you would like to donate a piece from your collection, please contact any one of the following GAC Board members for details and more information:

Lavinia Hale (247-9176 or president@greencastleartscouncil.org) Lisa Cooper (719-0362 or treasurer@greencastleartscouncil.org) Lane Ralph (721-1519 or laneranger104@gmail.com)

The Greencastle Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the value of donated items may be tax deductible. A donation receipt will be provided to donors upon request.
