Worth The Wait

Working to get it all out to hungry revelers, volunteer firefighters Richard “Woody” Wood (front) and Darrel Bunten flip and marinate the succulent meat as the Fireman's Chicken Barbecue gets under way Friday evening.

The line extends out of the station with a full menu on tap, along with a host of raffle prizes up for grabs. The two-day effort is the Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department’s primary fundraiser.
