Final First Friday set this week

Two favorites among local music fans, Steve St. Pierre (left) and Danny Martin and their respective bands will headline the two main stages of entertainment at the final First Friday event of 2022 in downtown Greencastle.

The final First Friday event of 2022 will feature the “Putt-Putnam County” hosted by Castlemakers.

The event will take over Franklin Street with putt-putt holes designed by local residents.

Start time is the same as other First Fridays, 6 p.m., with festivities expected to wind down around 11 p.m.

Barbecue trucks, local businesses, craftspeople and artisans will line the streets in vendor booths like always.

Live music starts with an acoustic set from Melinda Kay outside of Britt’s Blooming Boutique around 5:30 p.m. and the two stages of live music will start at roughly 7 p.m. with the Steve St. Pierre Band on Indiana Street and the Danny Martin Band on the Courthouse Stage.
