Louis Edward Livingston Jr.

Louis Edward Livingston Jr., 93, of Greencastle, passed away on Oct. 4, 2022, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Louis was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 28, 1929, the son of Louis Edward and Mable “Meta” Louise Livingston.

Mr. Livingston was a graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1949 from Yale University. Louis went to work for the Boeing Company at its Kansas facility. He graduated from Rice University with an earned master’s degree in 1962. After completing his master’s, he went to work for NASA in Houston, Texas, at the Manned Space Flight Center.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Livingston of Dallas, Texas; two nieces, Ann Lansch (David) Richardson of Texas and Janet Livingston; and two nephews, Andrew Livingston of New York, N.Y., and Keith Livingston.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Edette Livingston; his second wife, Liz Livingston; a brother, David Livingston; and a sister-in-law, Martha Hayes Livingston.

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
