Moore’s Bar Halloween 5K and related events set Saturday

Moore’s Bar in Greencastle will hold its annual Haunted Halloween 5K and Kids Monster 1K this Saturday, Oct. 22.

The event will also include a trunk or treat with the Greencastle Police and Fire departments. The trunk or treat will be staged from 4-6 p.m.

Participants in the races can pick up their race day packet during registration from 4-5:30 p.m.

The Kids Monster 1K will start at 5 p.m. with the awards ceremony and children’s costume contest set for 5:30.

The Haunted Halloween 5K will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the 5K awards ceremony at 7.

An adult costume contest is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

All proceeds will go the Mackenzie Meyer Scholarship Fund at Greencastle High School.
