Scattering Kindness

With a stated purpose to “Scatter Kindness,” Oct. 17-22 has been set aside as Indiana Extension Homemakers Week. In recognition, Putnam County Commissioners (seated from left) David Berry, Rick Woodall and Tom Helmer sign a proclamation recognizing the week in Putnam County. Extension Homemakers board member Kelly Robertson (standing) told those in attendance at Monday’s Commissioners meeting that they may see paper hearts at various places throughout the community as a way of scattering kindness during the week. Robertson said members will also celebrate with a luncheon at the Putnam Inn.
