Karon Ann Thompson

Karon Ann Thompson, age 77, of Cloverdale, passed away on Nov. 2, 2022.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1945, to the late Richard and Viola (Groff) Lange.

Karon married Richard Dean Thompson on Sept. 16, 1967, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2013.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Lange; children Richard ( Tammy) Thompson Jr., Robert (Bobbie) Thompson and Ryan (Carrie) Thompson; grandchildren Danielle (JT) Francies, Derrick Thompson, Cole Thompson, Haley (Danny) Smith, Madison Thompson and Mason Thompson; step-grandchildren Tara (Wes) Bell, Kelsey Dyer, Whitney (Matthew) Ray, Ariel (Jake) Kellersohn, Hunter Higgins, Kaylee Hubbard and Eva Hubbard; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon M. Cooper.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Cloverdale United Methodist Church, 364 W. Robert Weist Ave., Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the service time of 6:30 p.m.
