Falling Flakes

Saturday, November 12, 2022
Hello, country bumpkin, there’s more than frost on the pumpkin. Area residents woke Saturday morning to the first accumulating snowfall of the season that really stuck. Though heavier amounts can certainly be expected as into the winter months, Saturday’s snowfall was predicted to continue through the morning, with one area resident reporting a measurement of three inches before the snow had even stopped. It came as a stark reminder of what mid-November can hold in the Midwest, just two days after temperatures were in the 70s.
