Nick of Time

With wife Marcy pinning a new badge on him, Greencastle Police Officer Nick Eastham is elevated to the rank of sergeant Wednesday during the Board of Works meeting at City Hall. Eastham was selected to fill a vacancy created by Ed Wilson’s promotion to captain. Eastham, who will move to night shift with the promotion was selected by the Board of Captains, Chief Tom Sutherlin and Assistant Chief Chris Jones after testing and an interview. Also applying for the position were Luke Brown, Alec Pettit and Zach Rhine.
