33rd Holiday Fest event slated Friday at Danville

DANVILLE -- Hendricks County Extension Homemakers and Hendricks Power Cooperative are sponsoring the 33rd annual Holiday Fest on Friday, Dec. 2 at the Hendricks County Conference Center 4-H Fairgrounds in Danville.

Parking and admission are free for the 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. event.

The Cookie Walk will feature pre-made trays, pre-boxed and pre-priced assorted cookies. All of the holiday cookies are homemade by the Extension Homemakers. Sales will begin at 9 a.m. with payment by cash only.

New this year will be biscuits and gravy served starting at 9 a.m. in the Conference Room.

Forty exhibitors will be offering handcrafted and unique gift items. Enjoy shopping the booths for stocking stuffers and special holiday gifts while listening to music provided by The Treblemakers (the Hendricks County Extension Homemaker Chorus.)

Mrs. Santa Claus may drop by once again to visit with the children and the shoppers.

Lunch will be served by the Homemakers from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. in the Conference Room.
