Annual DePauw Holiday Gala slated Saturday

The annual DePauw University Holiday Gala is scheduled Saturday night, Dec. 3 and Sunday afternoon, Dec. 4 in Kresge Auditorium of the Green Center for the Performing Arts.

The Holiday Gala is an annual family-friendly event featuring all of DePauw’s large ensembles as well as various other acts. This year’s theme is Top 40 Holiday Hits.

Spectators are advised to arrive early to enjoy a wonderland of decorations and photo opportunities, while the Sunday performance will include a special holiday guest.

General admission is $20 per person, while students and seniors are admitted free. Tickets are available at dpugreencenter.eventbrite.com.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

The DePauw School of Music is one of the oldest schools of music in the country. With around 200 events every year, there are always concerts, masterclasses, recitals and shows to be enjoyed.
