Santa to visit Putnam County Courthouse Saturday

Santa Claus is coming to town for a visit Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Putnam County Courthouse.

Santa will be in the main lobby of the courthouse from 9 a.m.-noon.

The free community event is sponsored by the Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police. Everyone is invited to have cookies and doughnuts with law enforcement and Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The family event will also feature hot chocolate, coffee and plenty of donated gifts for children of a variety of ages.

Local law enforcement will also be on hand, promoting the event and interacting with the public.
