Doris ‘Sue’ Lucille Martin

Doris “Sue” Lucille Martin, of Fillmore, passed away on Dec. 11, 2022, at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle.

She was born June 23, 1932, to Walter Charles and Hazel Fern Boswell.

Doris was a homemaker and a member of Fillmore Christian Church and the Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department auxiliary. She was also the “Noodle Queen.”

Doris is survived by her children, Michael Martin of Greencastle, Charles (Jeanette) Martin of Fillmore and David (Meshella) of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother Larry (Shelby) Boswell of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

Her husband, William “Bill” Martin, brothers Jack and Tom, sister Wanda Jane Floyd and granddaughter Mary Widener preceded her in death.

Doris chose to be cremated and her ashes will be buried in Fillmore Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department.
