Evelyn F. Hubbard

Evelyn F. Hubbard, 88, formerly of Stilesville, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 20, 2022 at Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle.

She was born on May 26, 1934 in Roachdale, the daughter of Johnie Witt and Daisy I. Bell Witt Rhude.

She was self-employed as a seamstress and upholsterer. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Women’s Air Corp.

Survivors include her children, Lindy (David) Wingler of Coatesville, Jill (Bill) Richard of Danville, Mike Hubble of Coatesville and Tim Hubble of Mt. Meridan; son-in-law Mark Whitis of Coatesville; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husband Billy Lee Hubbard on Feb. 4, 2017, daughter Brenda Whitis, sister Edna Walton and brothers Buford, Harold Lee, William and James Edward Witt.

Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial will be in the Coatesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
