Beverly Jean Saunders

Beverly Jean Saunders, 88, Englewood, Fla., formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Dec. 20, 2022.

She was born July 9, 1934 in Greencastle to Russell and Alberta King and graduated from Greencastle High School in 1952.

In addition to being a homemaker, she worked as loan clerk at Central National Bank and bookkeeper at Morrison’s Goodyear Tire. She was a charter member of Sherwood Christian Church and active in several ministries along with serving as the church treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Richard, who passed away in June 2022.

Survivors include children Jeffrey (Judy) of Plainfield and Robert (Marge) Saunders of Englewood; and one grandchild, MJ Saunders.
