Taking the oath of office from Putnam Circuit Judge Matthew Headley Monday morning are (from left) District 1 County Councilman Wayne Huffman, District 2 Councilam Jay Alcorn and District 4 Councilman Keith Berry. Huffman is beginning his first term on the Putnam County Council, having upset incumbent Dave Fuhrman in the primary election. Alcorn is set to begin his first full term, having replaced Jill Bridgewater in early 2021. Berry, Meanwhile, begins his seventh term on the council, having first been elected in 1998.

A combination of new and familiar faces take the oath of office from Putnam Circuit Judge Matthew Headley Monday morning. New to their respective offices are Surveyor Greg Williams (above), who unseated longtime Surveyor David Penturf, and Assessor Don Badolato (below), who takes over from the retiring Janet Brown.

Meanwhile, County Commissioner Rick Woodall (above) takes the oath to begin his third term, while Recorder Heather Gilbert (below) shakes hands with Headley after taking the oath. Gilbert and new Clerk Tracy Bridges (not pictured) have essentially traded offices.
