INDIANAPOLIS – Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) made the following statement Thursday regarding Gov. Holcomb’s 2023 agenda:

“Senate Republicans share a number of the governor’s priorities for the 2023 legislative session,” the District 37 state senator said. “Above all, we will seek to pass a balanced budget that funds the needs of Hoosiers.

“We share the governor’s goals of improving our public and mental health infrastructure and providing new funding to that end, as well as paying down the pre-1996 Teachers’ Retirement Fund, supporting law enforcement and continuing to fully fund the state’s K-12 public education,” Bray said.

“We look forward to a productive session,” he added, “as we collaborate with our colleagues in the House of Representatives and the governor this year.”

Bray represents Senate District 37, which includes Morgan County and portions of Putnam, Johnson and Owen counties.
