With Christmas more than two weeks in the past and the calendar well into January, Paul Hinton of the Greencastle Fire Department removes a bow and greenery from a South Jackson Street lamp post Monday afternoon. Hinton and his GFD colleagues took advantage of relatively mild weather to un-deck the halls around downtown.

It would be nice if the dead winter arrangements were removed from the cement planters.....
