Vandalism left at least 14 vehicles with body or window damage in Greencastle overnight Saturday.

The sporadic damage appears to have been done with BB or pellet guns between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.

Affected vehicles were parked on North Arlington Street, Meadow Drive, East Washington Street, Elm Street and Maple Avenue.

Sgt. Nick Eastham initiated the investigation for the Greencastle Police Department.

No thefts were reported, just damage from the vandalism.

GPD is currently waiting on surveillance video from some property owners in the affected areas, Asst. Chief Ed Wilson told the Banner Graphic.

Wilson added that anyone who might have further information, video or anything of assistance should contact GPD at 653-2925 to speak to or leave a message for Detective Capt. Michael Collins.

  • I wonder if it was the same people who ran around and knocked off all the mail boxes in the country lately.
