Daryl Mosley coming to Roachdale March 19

ROACHDALE — The community is invited to a concert by singer-songwriter Daryl Mosley on Sunday, March 19 at Roachdale Christian Church, 1 N. Walnut St.

Mosley has regularly appeared on the Grand Ole Opry stage and at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tenn, and has a touring schedule of more than 150 concerts a year.

Mosley has been named Songwriter of the Year three times by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America, along with three Songs of the Year. His songs have been recorded by dozens of artists, ranging from Bobby Osborne to Lynn Anderson to The Booth Brothers.

“I just write and sing songs about real life and real people,” Mosley has said. “Songs about faith and home and community are the foundation of my music because those are the things that are most precious to me.”

The concert will begin at 6 p.m. and is free to the public, but a love offering will be taken.
