Wednesday Shed Fire

Greencastle firefighter Grant Bryan works on extinguishing a shed fire at a residence near the Putnam-Clay county line Wednesday afternoon. While the small structure was destroyed, a larger quonset next to it remained intact. Personnel from the Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Putnamville Correctional Facility were also at the scene, along with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Putnam County EMS. As a box alarm was initially dropped, volunteers from the Cloverdale Township, Madison Township and Poland fire departments were en route but disregarded.
