Clayton man shot, suspect in custody following domestic dispute

CLAYTON — A 42-year-old man apparently sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound Thursday following a domestic dispute.

At approximately 4 p.m. Hendricks County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to East Crawford street in Clayton for a report of a gunshot wound.

Upon the arrival of deputies, they located the victime who sustained what appeared to be a gunshot wound in the lower abdomen.

At the scene, they also identified a 20-year-old male suspect who is reportedly a relative to the victim. The suspect was taken into custody.

Initial reports indicate that this incident was predicated by a domestic dispute.
