COLLEGE REPORT: Neese, Moore finish collegiate careers; Whitaker, Marian see season end in NAIA Tournament; Haywood competes at NCAA Zone C Diving Championships

Cloverdale graduates Cooper Neese and Jalen Moore wrapped up their collegiate basketball careers earlier this month.
Neese and the Sycamores finished the regular season 22-12 and qualified for the College Basketball Invitational, where they lost in the quarterfinals 89-88 to Eastern Kentucky.
ISU closed the year with a 23-13 mark, while Neese ended his Indiana State career as ISU’s all-time leader in games played with 137. He scored 17 points in his final game, and his two 3-pointers in the game make 231 triples for his career – which ranks fourth on ISU’s list of career threes made.
Moore and the Oakland Grizzlies did not have as good of a season, as injuries limited several key players throughout the year. Oakland finished 13-19 overall and 11-9 in the Horizon League, dropping their final game to eventual league champion Northern Kentucky.
Moore scored 21 points in his final collegiate game, adding seven assists and four rebounds. He was named all-Horizon League for the third straight season.
