Jo Ann Bean

Jo Ann Bean, age 83, of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2023.

She was born in Pineville, Ky., on April 26, 1939, to the late Pearl and Maggie (Pingleton) Partin.

Jo Ann married Earl Bean on July 26, 1959, and he survives.

Jo Ann spent most of her life as a homemaker, an amazing mother to her seven children and wife of 63 years. She worked as a teaching assistant at Cloverdale Elementary School for more than 10 years. She was an avid bowler and sports fanatic. Her favorite seat was behind home plate.

In addition to her husband, Earl, she is also survived by her children, Jeff (Kay) Bean, Linda Wolf, Andrew Bean, Matt Bean, Tim (Debbie) Bean, Tori (David) Maldonado and Emily (Jason) Creviston; brother Fred (Marie) Partin; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings.

Funeral services for Jo Ann will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 11 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 10 at the funeral home.
