Frank Ray Keeton

Frank Ray Keeton, 72, passed away on Jan. 24, 2023.

He was born Dec. 17, 1950, to Bryan and Celastine (Decker) Keeton in Monticello, Ky. Frank was one of 12 children.

Frank loved farming, raising horses and elk. He lived an active life, enjoying the outdoors while hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers. Frank was known for his work ethic and being able to motivate others.

Throughout his life, Frank had many horses and showed while holding several judges’ cards. Later, he truly enjoyed elk farming. Frank was also involved with either installing floors or owning a flooring store most of his life.

Frank is survived by sisters Mary Dodson, Liz Barnett, Betty Ferrell, Penny Stinson and Rita Goodwin; brothers James Keeton and Robert Keeton; daughters Tammy (Ben) Brooks and Lori Keeton; son Bryan (Bethany) Keeton; grandkids Calvin Grimes, Zachary Grimes, Jeramiah Grimes, Noah Grimes, Joseph Grimes, Vincent James, Grace Keeton, Emily Zhong, Samuel Keeton, Hannah Keeton, David Keeton and Gabe Keeton; and great-grandkids Tucker Grimes, Annabel Grimes, Alice Grimes, Bella Grimes and Zaydon Zhong.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryan and Celastine (Decker) Keeton; sisters Polly Goodman, Ida Harris and Della McCorpin; and brother John Keeton.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Bainbridge Community Center on Friday, April 28 from 5-8 p.m.
