Medical Emergency

First responders manage the scene of an incident that occurred on the south side of the Courthouse Square in Greencastle Thursday morning. A driver was reportedly turning onto Washington Street from Jackson Street when he suffered a medical emergency. He then coasted onto the sidewalk and barely impacted the building. Though unresponsive when personnel got him out of the vehicle, the man was conscious and talking before being transported by Putnam County EMS. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Greencastle Police Department and Greencastle Fire Department also responded to the incident.
