Culvert project closing SR 234 near Ladoga on or after April 26

LADOGA -- State Road 234 will close on or after Wednesday, April 26 for a culvert replacement project near Ladoga, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced.

SR 234 is expected to reopen after mid-June, weather permitting.

The official INDOT detour follows U.S. 231 south from SR. 234 to SR 236 east to SR 75 north.

The contract was awarded to Conexco Inc. for $1.1 million. It also involves additional culvert work on SR 234, approximately 3.54 miles west of SR 75 in Hendricks County and approximately 7.28 miles west of SR 75 in Montgomery County.

The entire contract is expected to be completed in June 2024.
