All Smiles

With a Friday weather forecast that got a little bit better with each day that passed during the week, it’s all blue skies and smiles for the 2023 debut of Greencastle First Friday, whether it’s Steve St. Pierre (above) grinning as he rips off a guitar solo for Danny Martin and the Danocasters on the South Indiana Street stage, or local art teacher Dessa Frank (below) smiling as she chats with young artists in her new Sassafrass Art Studio inside the new Creative Castle location at 16 S. Jackson St.

Then there’s Martin himself, as the veteran local rocker, flanked by Steve Michael and Henry Thomas, always has a knack for finding a camera in the crowd and hamming it up a little bit.
