Meanwhile, with the school having gone to the latin honor system, 2023 marks the first graduating class at South Putnam High School without a valedictorian or salutatorian. Nonetheless the South Putnam graduates have plenty to celebrate as confetti rains down on them at the conclusion of the ceremony, before exiting to some wisdom from Eleanor Roosevelt.
